Titled simply Divinity, the game was presented with a bold trailer packed with striking imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to an orgy and the literal opening of infernal gates.
Not the Expected Sequel
For those anticipating Divinity Original Sin 3, this is not that. Larian stated ahead of time that a follow-up to its venerated RPGs is not being worked on now.
Nevertheless, the developer described this new Divinity as a continuation of the core franchise. This phrasing implies that the team is likely designing a more action-oriented experience rather than another tactical title. For now, it remains theory, as only a cinematic trailer is available.
