Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
